October Opportunities...
October is "Pastor Appreciation" month and we are encouraging one and all to be a blessing to Pastor Dick & Cam this month.   Send them a card, give them a gift...but most importantly, let them know that they are loved and appreciated for all that they do for our church family and in the community.
 
TODAYMinistry Team Leader Supper at 6 p.m. Bring your calendar ideas for ministry and any updates on your area of ministry.
 
Monday: Trustee Meeting6:30 p.m. Please bring information on projects we have been working on to discuss with the group.
 
Thursday – 6:30 p.m. – “Hour Of Power” prayer meeting here at the church.
 
Saturday, October 31 – Community All Age Halloween Party from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. We are looking for donations of cider, juice boxes, plain donuts or volunteers to help. If you can supply any of these needs, please see John E or Nancy H as soon as possible.
 
DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME: Be sure to set your clocks BACK one hour on Saturday evening before going to bed.
 
Next Sunday, November 1st: Christmas Cantata Practice from 11:00 – 11:45 a.m.    We are still looking for people to join us....get your book and music today!
 
Global Prayer-Net”, the weekly update from Wesleyan World Missions, are available on back table as well as the most recent “Wesleyan LIFEmagazine, free for the taking!

Community Thanksgiving Dinner – November 18, 2009
 
Movie Night on November 20th sponsored by Children's Ministry Team. We will be showing the newly released "UP." It's a movie for the whole familly....come and enjoy! The movie will be shown for free....snacks will be available for purchase.
 
Worship Team Meetings/Gatherings:   December 15th at 6:30 p.m. and January 19th.   Mark your calendars and plan to attend!
 
The Ladies will be placing orders for Rada knives from October 1 until Thanksgiving. If you would like to order any products,, please see Cam or Phyllis  for a catalog.
 
 November 13th – Youth Outing:   Hockey Game & Fun....see Audrey or John Elliott for a flyer with information and permission slip.
 
November 15, 2009“Blessing Sunday”
 
Calling all Crafters & Bakers.....The Women's Ministry will again hold a Holiday Craft Fair & Bake Sale on Saturday, December 5th during the Hometown Christmas activities. We are looking for donations of handcrafted items for the sale. Start your projects now....we have some great talent to share with our community!!!
